Microscopes

In Science this week we have begun using microscopes.  We have been practicing adjusting the knobs and bringing objects into better focus, so as to better examine specimens on the slides.  We examined poppy seeds, feathers, fish scales, and human hair.  What did you notice about each specimen?  What is the difference between the well slide and the wet mount slide?  Which slide do you think is better for viewing the fish scale and why?  Please post an answer to one of these questions below.  Also, check out the links in this post for more information
